South Windsor Elementary Music

Mr. Myers started teaching at PV in 1996. He teaches General Music (K-5) and Chorus for 4th and 5th graders. A graduate of South Windsor High School, he studied music at UConn and Yale. He has taught at the Elementary, Middle, High School and University levels. His teaching has included Band, Jazz Band, Chorus, Opera Workshop and Voice. He plays with and conducts the South Windsor Community Band.

Ms. Leach-Hebert has been teaching General Music and Chorus at Eli Terry School for 13 years. She also conducts the South Windsor Community Chorus (Join us!) Ms. Leach-Hebert earned her undergraduate degree and masters degree from UCONN (Go Huskies!) She earned her Level I & II Kodaly Certification from Hartt and NYU. 

Ms. McNulty has been teaching Music classes and Chorus at PRS for 24 years! She recently directed the South Windsor All-Town Elementary Honors Choir. She often hosts clinic students and student teachers from UCONN, and for 10 years directed the Jr. Trebles and Treblemakers at UCONN Community School of the Arts. She graduated Salutatorian from the Hartt School where she earned a Bachelor degree in Music Education. She studied Kodaly pedagogy in Boston and earned a Masters degree at CCSU.

Mrs. Lopez has been teaching for 13 years, 9 of which have been in South Windsor. She has taught choral, band, and general music at all levels. She is also currently teaching private instrumental music lessons and performs occasionally on the bassoon in local community orchestras and bands. Mrs. Lopez studied music at Boston University and The University of Connecticut and earned her masters of science in Educational Leadership at CCSU.
